Description

With a beach in every direction you turn, The Sandy Sister lies in the sandy heart of the small coastal surf town of Dodges Ferry, Tasmania.

A beach shack, born in the 60’s, positioned to drink in the incredible views over Frederick Henry Bay towards Mt Wellington/Kunyanyi. The perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine together whilst watching the sun go down.

With three bedrooms, two with queen beds, and two singles in another room, there is plenty of space for your crew.

There are multiple decks to sit and enjoy the view, with the highlight being the view to the west, where the sun goes down over the bay.

The kitchen is equiped with items for cooking, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of mugs and glassware.

There are books, board games, and Netflix for when you just feel like staying in.

Walking to the local beaches, whether it’s for a surf at Park Beach, a dip at Red Ochre beach or walking the dog towards Carlton Beach, will take you 5 minutes tops.

A leisurely wander will take you to breakfast at the local Park Cafe. Watch the surf and plan the activities for the day.

With many top places to visit, all within an easy drive , such as MONA museum, Port Arthur and Triabunna, The Sandy Sister is the perfect base for exploring Southern Tasmania.
