The Wayfarer

Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania

/ night

The Wayfarer overlooks stunning Pirates Bay at Eaglehawk Neck, with panoramic views of the everchanging and glimmering Tasman Sea, the ocean beach and the gentler Norfolk Bay on the opposite side of the Neck.

Our beach shack is a heavenly abode for relaxation and calm, ideally suited for 2 – 4 guests.

The treasures of the Tasman Peninsula are all close by, waiting to be explored. From the famous Port Arthur convict settlement to surfing beaches, fishing and Tasman Sea cruising and the Three Capes walking tracks, remarkable scenery beckons.

The Wayfarer is a classic 1970’s beach shack, owned by the one family until it changed hands a couple of years ago. It has been tastefully renovated by the owners, retaining the warmth and welcoming feel of its origins. Simple touches and family treasures make it the perfect escape from the stresses of modern life – a chance to slow right down and immerse yourself in the sounds of the sea and surrounding bush.

With large windows framing expansive sunlit views, this shack’s stylish interior invites you to settle in, unwind and leave a busy world behind.

A perfect spot for sunrise lovers… the sea will simply cast a spell on you.
