An ideal city escape halfway between Sydney and Canberra in the beautiful Southern Highlands, situated on the edge of the village and Morton National Park. You can enjoy cafes and village life as well as bush walks and country drives. We have many activities for a small village… Winter Fest, Brigadoon, Tango Festival, Local Market, Scarecrow Competition, Garden Ramble, The Art Trail…it’s very friendly & festive any time of year.
The space is a mix of country and contemporary living and well situated in the historic village of Bundanoon. The cottage has a private location while being close to village conveniences and cafes and good base for exploring the Southern Highlands.
The village shops are closeby and Bundanoon is also the gateway to the beautiful and extensive Morton National park, full of natural wonders and bushwalking tracks including a short one that starts at the end of the cottage driveway.
Bundanoon is friendly and a slow living location, locals are proud of their historic village. Creative and nature loving locals and visitors love the close access to nature and the feeling of well-being that the wonderful starry nights and misty fresh mornings and evenings bring.
The Southern Highlands offers arts, antique and second hand hunting, markets, cafes, restaurants, wineries, open gardens and side trips and beautiful drives down the escarpment to the coast or south to Canberra, west to Wombeyan Caves and other county detours.
Parking is off street immediately to the front side of the cottage, a few steps to the front door. Decks front and back for morning and afternoon sun & outdoor relaxing.
