Description

Little Wren, built more than 70 years ago, was the sole house for 30 years on the Glenwood estate, set in the picturesque Macedon Ranges. She has since been renovated into a luxury cottage surrounded by rolling hills and towering eucalypts.
The beautifully appointed bedroom is a serene space with natural light and valley views, complete with fireplace, leather sofa and luxurious queen bed.
From here, open the French doors to the verandah, surrounded by magnificent views of the valley, and hopefully echidnas, kangaroos, possums, sheep and alpacas, never mind all the native birds, will be in your midst. Happy wildlife spotting!
Netflix, Stan, Prime and Apple Music means there’s something for everyone. The Sonos soundbar lets you stream all your favourite music from the internet, indoors and out.
The kitchen provides all the essentials for preparing meals, with comfortable dining space for 4. While no built-in oven or stovetop are available, there is an electric fry pan, a mini oven and a plug-in stove.
When you aren’t relaxing at the cottage enjoying spectacular views, you can take a bushwalk through the many acres of pristine native bush on the property. Old signposted tracks will take you for an easy hike. Keen walkers can leave the tracks to ascend to the top of the ridge, 700m above sea level, and enjoy this private bushland’s stunning views and scenery.
Little Wren cottage shares the 40-acre property with the owners but has plenty of privacy.  The cottage is located off a shared driveway 300m from the main house. You can barely see the house through the trees and you probably won’t even see us!
