Description
Lovingly restored worker’s cottage in Old Albany, minutes away from the cafes, restaurants and bars of central Albany. The cottage combines elegance and luxury with a relaxed bohemian feel. Morning sunshine streams through the open kitchen, living and dining space which opens on to an enclosed garden and courtyard. In the colder months, there’s a fireplace and a deep bath for winter comfort. All bedrooms are spacious, with quality linens and the kitchen well appointed for self catering.
The house has been restored to preserve its original features including polished jarrah floorboards and timber lined walls and ceilings. Downstairs includes 2 queen size bedrooms and a bunk room to sleep 4, with adjacent bathroom including a deep freestanding bath and separate shower. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area opens on to a sheltered courtyard of recycled bricks and lily pond (with safety grate – but please supervise little ones). Also downstairs is a laundry with separate toilet. Upstairs leads to a large queen size bedroom with views over the harbour and Mount Clarence and a walk in robe and ensuite bathroom.
